Rebekah is a graceful and emotive dancer in a predominantly Egyption style.Rebekah started dancing in 1998 while studying performing arts. She had always wanted to try something different. The rest as they say is history!!
Since then Rebekah has studied and attended many workshops with international dancers such as Mona Lisa Egypt(Reda Troupe) Morocco NY, Yasmina of Cairo, Aziza, Dondi, Afra Al Kahira, Jan Pigott, Sara Shrapnall and Rahesha to name a few.
Rebekah teaches regularly in Southampton and on the Isle of Wight and is the only qualified teacher on the island, She is also the founder of the island's Wightfest Bellydance Festival. Rebekah has taught all over the country including alongside many international dancers at the Celebrating Dance Festival.
Rebekah is an experienced performer and has performed all over the country at dance festivals, weddings, restarants, corporate events, festivals and shows such as the Isle of Wight Rock Festival, the Rhytham Tree Festival, the Garlic Festival and the New Forest Show. She has also performed internationally in 5* hotels in Algiers, Egypt, Morocco and America. Rebekah came 3rd in the 2011 MissBellydance UK competition.
Rebekah was also a finalist at the Red Hot Talent contest and a semi finalist for The Island's Got Talent!
